This boardshort is stretchable, made with poly fibers and recycled coconut. The all-over print shows its teeth with a scalloped hem and a side pocket with an integrated key ring.

This garment is made from a mixture of recycled coconuts, recycled plastic bottles and polyester, and cotton. Upcycling is the process of converting unnecessary products into new clothes. This allows us to create performance garments with faster drying times and UV protection while reducing the amount of coconut waste and plastic bottles in landfills.

Through a process called "Cocotex", the properties of this fabric are everything you could want: they stretch, they breathe, they fight odors and they last.

In the past, water repellent fabrics were treated with chemicals called PFCs and fluorocarbons to help prevent surface saturation in the fabrics. The problem is that, as these chemicals are released from tissues over time, they have been shown to harm living organisms with which they come into contact, affecting reproduction and hormonal systems. Vissla has chosen to switch to a 100% PFC and DWR water-repellent coating without fluorocarbon for our boardshorts.
