Based on the popular T3 performance pad and designed in collaboration with Harley Ingleby, the HI Eco Mid 5-piece pad is suitable for a wide range of mid-length models.

The HI Mid pad is longer than a traditional shortboard pad to accommodate the increased movement of the back foot when surfing on a medium to longer length board. The back half of the pad has been retracted to fit perfectly into the narrower tail shapes and additional perforations have been specified to provide better sensitivity and reduce the total weight of the pad.

The width of the kick has been reduced (plus reduction in weight and pad area) while presenting a new detail of cutting edges with channels to minimize any drag from the water along the rail.
Additional parts can be used to extend the pad area even higher on the board for surfers who like to surf from a more advanced position.

The 45-degree dual square grooves lock the foot in place in turns while making it easier to adjust the foot.
